Our team
Our international team consists of a group of analysts, advocates, strategists and writers that thrive on sharing our experience and knowledge to help you make a success of your business. With offices in Washington D.C., USA and Johannesburg, South Africa, we are looking to expand our team to include more writers and consultants in Africa, Asia, Europe and South America.
Our history
Lawrence International (Lawrence Int.) was launched in June 2022 by DaQuan M. Lawrence, MIPP, who is a global humanitarian, scholar-activist and international affairs young professional. Currently a graduate assistant at the Center for African Studies and an African Studies doctoral student at Howard University, DaQuan dedicated his life to assisting and advocating for marginalized individuals due to his background in foster homes in NYC and experience in urban poverty.
Lawrence Int. was developed after DaQuan cofounded Strong Men Overcoming Obstacles Through Hard-work, Inc., a social and professional development nonprofit for Black males and youth, worked with human rights defenders in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Europe, contributed to international public policy research in Liberia, Indonesia, Haiti, the Dominican Republic and South Africa, and traveled to Palestine and Israel.
Our mission
Lawrence Int. aims to support and create pathways for the next generation of global leaders. Our global consulting firm seeks to work with partners to develop and distribute resources for our clients to lead their own enterprises, and offers workshops and trainings in areas such as human rights advocacy, international and national public policy, and racial equity, as well as diversity, equity and inclusion.
Our consulting processes are based around three tenets: educe, develop and connect, as we seek to extract and develop our client's vision of success and connect them to resources that will make their vision a reality. Our business mantra is: analyze, identify, advise and execute. Our primary goal is to create relationships, instead of transactions. We promise to be there, as questions or issues arise, each step of the way.
